MAY MENU Pay for lunch here! Lunch/Recess Schedule Lunch on the first Wednesday of every month will feature seasonal, Wisconsin grown ingredients. For the month of May we are featuring Cheese Fries from Portesi Italian Foods in Stevens Point, potato smiles from McCain Foods in Plover, apples from Appleland Farm in Fredonia, Craisins from Ocean Spray in Kenosha, and milk from Brothers Dairy in Kewaunee. FLIER ATTACHED We will walk to show support for MS on Thursday, April 27th at 10:15. The winner of the Penny Drop will be announced after the WALK.

For many years we have hosted an Interest Fair at Howard School, but just as learning has changed, so has the way that we would like to share the amazing things happening within our school community. Therefore, we are excited to introduce:
The Showcase of Learning!
Wednesday, May 31, 2017
Students will share lessons, projects and activities that have been happening in classes throughout this year. You will witness feats of amazing personalized learning and technology demonstrations too.
Every student will have something to share!
Families are invited to tour the Learning Showcase from:
10:30-11:00 or 2:30-3:00

Attention Parents of 4th graders:
HPSA is providing every 4th grade student with a keepsake DVD of their years at Howard Elementary. If you have photos of school events, classroom activities, or field trips from their years at Howard that you would like to share, please email the photos to [email protected]. All photos should be emailed by April 28th. Thank you!
To ensure success for HPSA in the 2017-2018 school year our monthly meeting time has been extended. On Tuesday, May 2nd our meeting will start at 5:30 pm in the Howard Library. We hope to see you there.
All officer positions will be open for voting for the upcoming year. We will vote in person at the May meeting. Please email co-secretaries Kelly Runke or Tonya Liethen with your interest in a specific position so they can add your name to the ballot.

CESA 7 Head Start is looking for eligible families who want a preschool or 4K experience for their child. This is specifically for families who meet income guidelines and have children age 3 or 4 b y September 1, 2017. Call the Head Start Program Office at (920) 430-1153 to apply or for more information.
***Families that live outside of the district attendance area and want their child to attend Howard-Suamico Schools can apply for Open Enrollment. Open Enrollment applications are available from February 6 – April 28, 2017.
