IMPORTANCE OF YOUR CHILD ATTENDING SCHOOL!!
If your child will be absent due to an appointment, it is recommended that you attain an excuse from your provider for the date and time of the visit and return the excuse to the school office. This will ensure that the absence is noted as a medical absence rather than excused or tardy. Monitor your child’s tardies and absences through the district website: http://powerschool.hssd.k12.wi.us/public/ Click here for more information about the importance of attendance from the State Superintendent's office. HOWARD PARENT SCHOOL ASSOCIATION (HPSA) HPSA Fundraiser Packets went home last week. Please check it out and see if you would like to order. All orders due back by 10/20/16. Thank you for supporting your child's HPSA. As a reminder, every parent or guardian of a Howard Elementary School student is automatically a member of HPSA. There are no requirements and you don’t need to attend every meeting to volunteer. We had another great turn out at our October monthly meeting. Please welcome Cassandra Hill as our new HPSA President, Kari Trzinski as our new Vice president and treasurer, and Tonya Liethen as our secretary. Our first event, The Spaghetti Dinner prior to Camp Out with Books was a roaring success, thank you to all of the families that attended the event, those who donated food to share and to our volunteers for helping everything run smoothly. Please email [email protected] with any questions you have, attend our November monthly meeting on the first, or check out our HPSA Facebook page @HowardPSA. We are looking forward to a great year! Please join us! Howard Parent School Association Like us on Facebook! (@HowardPSA) |
