Student Council would like to thank all families that participated in the Green Bay Savings Card Fundraiser. With the sale of cards and donations, we raised over $1800!!! We had a 90% return of either cards or money. We would also like to thank Mrs. Derosseau and Mrs. Borkovec for all their help and patience in collecting the money and cards from the Family Folders!!!
This year we had 73 families that sold 2 cards (received a Husky Buck), 17 families that sold 6 or more cards (received a Husky t-shirt). Our top winner was Teegan Henrich. He sold 29 Savings cards and received the top prize of $1.00 for each card sold. With all your efforts of selling, Student Council will be able to provide many academic, social, and community integrated activities throughout the school year. Save the Date
The Howard winter concerts will take place on February 11th & 13th, 2020. From your School Board
[email protected] October 2019 Profile of a Graduate: Communication A recent 2018 Job Outlook Survey found that only 41% of employers ranked current students as proficient in oral/written communications which is one reason why the HSSD believes communication is a critical element in the success of our students regardless of post high school graduation plans. Communication is an important component of our District Profile of a Graduate. For more information about the Howard-Suamico School District, please visit our website at www.hssdschools.org or for additional information regarding this article, contact school board member Garry Sievert at [email protected]. |
FACILITIES USE CALENDAR Have you used or are you interested in using the school facility for a meeting, practice, or other community event? If so, the Howard-Suamico School District uses a web-based Use of Facilities Calendar. The calendar link is found at http://fs-hssd.rschooltoday.com/calendar/index/publicview/ Events at various district facilities can be located by using the calendar. If you are looking to request the use of one of the district’s facilities, it’s easy! Just click on the Request Facilities button from the calendar page and sign up. It’s that simple. If you have questions, contact the school office at 662-9700. Requests for facility usage are subject to approval based on administrative policy 7510. |
