An Important Message from the Food Service Department
Introducing NutriSlice: New Interactive Breakfast & Lunch Menus!
NutriSlice is an innovative method for parents and students to view information about what is on our school menu for breakfast and lunch each day. You can see an image and description for food items, as well as nutrition and allergen information. For those students with allergies, you are able to select the food you are allergic to and it will cross out any items on the menu that contain that allergen. Menu changes are updated in real time, so when there’s a snow day you won’t have any questions about what is being served the following school day. Please be sure to check the menus frequently for the most accurate and up to date information.
There’s also the option to rate individual food items, so please help us continue to improve by providing feedback. Our innovative, interactive site and FREE mobile app make our school menus more convenient and informative than ever before. Visit your school’s homepage, the Food Service page, or click here http://hssdwi.nutrislice.com/ to check out the menu and all of the great features!

From Your Board – Important Survey Request
Dear Howard-Suamico Families,
We have been given the opportunity to better align the needs of the Howard-Suamico School District with community values as we work to address the District’s financial challenges. To that end, the HSSD Board of Education is asking adult community members to participate in a survey to assist in future referendum planning efforts. Information gained from this survey will be used to evaluate options that meet the community’s needs, are financially responsible, and move the school district forward.
Visit www.HSSDsurvey.org
This survey will take an estimated 15 minutes to complete and can be accessed until October 1, 2017. A reminder postcard will also be mailed to all Howard and Suamico residents next week. We respect your time and value your participation. Your answers will be anonymous. You can also request a paper copy and a prepaid return envelope at any school office or by calling 920-662-7878.
Sincerely,
Howard-Suamico School District Board of Education
