FACILITIES USE CALENDAR Have you used or are you interested in using the school facility for a meeting, practice, or other community event? If so, the Howard-Suamico School District uses a web-based Use of Facilities Calendar. The calendar link is found at http://fs-hssd.rschooltoday.com/calendar/index/publicview/ Events at various district facilities can be located by using the calendar. If you are looking to request the use of one of the district’s facilities, it’s easy! Just click on the Request Facilities button from the calendar page and sign up. It’s that simple. If you have questions, contact the school office at 662-9700. Requests for facility usage are subject to approval based on administrative policy 7510. Weather Related Make-up Time
The District will need to make up time to meet the instructional minutes required by the Department of Public Instruction. Beginning Monday, April 23 there will be 10 minutes added to the beginning of the school day at the elementary schools. Bus pickup and drop off times will not change. The instructional minutes will be added to the beginning of the school day due to existing transportation schedules. Additionally, the District is eliminating the grade K-4 early release May 18. Students will now be expected to attend a full school day. If families have scheduled plans for that afternoon, they can call the school office and excuse their child.
