Who will win the third quarter Box Tops classroom challenge?
Will your child’s class collect more Box Tops than one of the leading first grade classrooms? Send in all of your Box Tops to school by February 24th! (Remember to check for expiration dates.) Please label with your child’s name and their teacher’s name. Each student in the winning classroom will receive a treat bag, the teacher will receive items from their classroom wish list from HPSA and the Howard Husky stuffed animal will be the winning classroom’s guest until the next quarter! Confirmation of your scheduled conference time was sent home last week. If you did not receive a conference confirmation from your child(ren’s) teacher, please contact the school to set up a conference time.
Parent-Teacher Conferences Conferences are set for the following dates and times: Thursday, February 16 4:00pm-7:30pm Tuesday, February 21 4:00pm-7:30pm (SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR WILL BE HELD DURING ALL CONFERENCES!!) Lineville Intermediate School Music Choices In March parents of 4th graders will be asked to choose a 5th grade music class. Course descriptions and registration information will be available on March 8th, and parents and students will learn about band, chorus, and orchestra classes at Lineville. A selection must be made and the registration completed within two weeks. ****Families that live outside of the district attendance area and want their child to attend Howard-Suamico Schools can apply for Open Enrollment. Open Enrollment applications are available from February 6 – April 28, 2017. For application and additional information, visit the Howard-Suamico Open Enrollment webpage at http://www.hssd.k12.wi.us/open-enrollment or contact the Registration Office at [email protected] or call 920-662-8860.
New Year-Round Update Process for Parents to Update Family Information Online
- Parent/Guardian will log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
- Once in the portal, choose the appropriate student (changes will need to be done for each child listed in the account).
- Select InfoSnap Year Round Update on the left side under navigation. (This will take a couple seconds to populate the information that is currently in PowerSchool.)
- Once the student information is populated, the parent/guardian is free to change the appropriate information such as primary mailing name, contact #, address, mother/father/guardian information, and emergency contact information.

Register: In Advance – Online (up until noon on the day of event) OR At the Door - 4 - 4:30 p.m. on the day of event. Dance Clinic - 4:30 p.m. to approximately 8:00 pm. Cost: $25 Advance Registration. $30 at the door (Walk-Ins Welcome!) All Registration Fees are non-refundable.

Swim Lessons - The Howard-Suamico Community Pool will be offering the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Program this Spring 2017. All swim lessons are taught by qualified staff certified in the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, Water Safety Instruction, CPR for the Professional Rescuers and First Aid. Lessons are offered for Levels Pre-1 to 4. Adult Lessons will be offered upon request. The pool is located in the Lineville Intermediate School.
There is a discrepancy with one of the At-A-Glance calendar dates in the November District Newsletter that was mailed to families. The newsletter says we have parent/teacher conferences on Friday, Feb. 17 in the morning; however, there is No School or Parent/Teacher conferences!
Pirate Fastpitch Tournament Team Information Pirate Fastpitch Tournament Team Information is a non-profit organization providing youth athletes the opportunity to participate in competitive tournament team softball.
